MATEXIL (Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council)
MATEXIL (Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council) is an Export Promotion Council under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It promotes the export of manmade fibre (MMF) textiles and technical textiles from India to international markets. The council was originally established in 1954 as the Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) and was officially renamed MATEXIL in 2023 to reflect its expanded role.
